Abstract

The paper revealed the impact of active learning strategies in enhancing the written expression skills of university students from the faculty members’ perspective. The methodology involves using the descriptive survey approach. An item-based questionnaire is utilized as a research instrument. The results demonstrated a moderate effect of active learning strategies in enhancing the written expression skills of university students from the faculty members’ perspective. The paper opens new venues articulated in calling on faculty members to diversify active learning strategies when teaching the different stages of written expression, especially while students are writing, as group work can significantly benefit from this stage.
