As a politician, Ho Chi Minh wrote a substantial amount of political discourse to serve the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese nation. However, many of his political speeches go beyond their fundamental social function, attaining the aesthetic qualities of literary and artistic works. In the anthology On Revolutionary Ethics published by Su That Publishing House in 1976, Ho Chi Minh skillfully integrated the distinctive features of political discourse with those of literary memoirs, a recognized artistic genre, to create a discourse that embodies profound cultural value.
